 FAQ's

[Q]: What is the difference between: Buffing, Polishing, and Waxing?
[A]: Buffing and polishing are the same. It's commonly done with a high-speed polisher/buffer, and it is used to remove oxidation, scratches and other impurities from your car, truck, boat's surface. Wax is used as a final step to protect your final finished detail, and should NOT be used to try to shine your car. Wax is a protector, not a polish.
[Q]: How often should you Wax/Detail?
[A]: Most manufactures of quality waxes say their products last for an average of 6-12 months. But why would you wait for your wax to be completely GONE before applying more? We recommend to wax your car every 3 months, unless you feel it requires more. Furthermore, Black, Red and other dark colored cars may require extra attention and need to be waxed every 2 months or more - depending on the circumstances. We'll help you decide.
[Q]: How often should I Re-Detail?
[A]: That's a tough one. I think the most accurate honest answer would be this - it all depends on how you care for your car, truck, boat, R.V. or whatever, in between Details and Wax jobs. No two people treat their vehicle the same, nor require the same upkeep. If your car is garaged or covered during the hottest part of the day, or during severe weather, or kept away from pollution and other contaminants, and you don't have children and pets that are frequently in the vehicle, you tend to need less maintenance. But if your vehicle is outdoors most of the time, or it's your family car, work vehicle, it's black, red or dark colored, you don't Wash/Wax it often, and a million other adverse conditions, then you'll need to detail it more often. Let me offer this general advise: Wash often with only a non-detergent or Wash-N-Wax soap. Wax every 2-3 months and re-detail as needed. We will help you.

[Q]: What is Oxidation, Pollution, Fallout and Overspray?
[A]: Oxidation is what happens when you paint on your car or the gel-coat on your boat (fiberglass) becomes sun-dried, faded, or sun-burned so to speak. Pollution and other industrial fallout that comes from factories, auto and other exhaust and train rail-dust in the air settling on your car or other vehicle helps oxidation occur. Overspray is what happens when someone spray paints a building and it floats through the air and settles on your car. We can remove ALL of these problems, and have over 10 years experience in the removal of these and many other problems. Don't panic.
